Whether you'd welcome some help to keep your independence or you have a loved one who could use a little extra support, my Lifestyle Companion service is here to help. Intended to provide personalised support while promoting active & independent living, I can provide peace of mind - whether regular or ad hoc basis.
Running Errands
From shopping for essentials, collecting prescriptions to dropping off parcels, I can help. Prefer to do the errands yourself but would welcome a helping hand, I can accompany you, assist with carrying the bags or provide that all-important second opinion on purchases!
Appointment Support
Medical or dental appointments can feel overwhelming - whether it's transportation, navigating the clinic or simply for reassurance, let me help. I'll accompany you or your loved one from home to the appointment and back. This can include medical, beauty, hair, opticians or bank/solicitor. For privacy reasons, I'll always wait nearby during the appointment, ready to assist when needed.
Online Assistance
Technology isn’t for everyone, but we recognise it's place in our lives so maybe I can help make it easier. I can help with online shopping, bill payments project research or navigating social media. I can also help you stay better connected with family & friends by setting up and guiding you through video platforms life Facetime, Skype or Zoom.
Coffee and Chat
Sometimes what you need most is a friendly face & a good chat. Whether it's over a coffee (or tea in my case!), at home or local café, I'm happy to take the time to sit, chat and brighten the day. I host a weekly Chatter & Natter group at The Buntingford Coffee Shop so you can trust I'll bring plenty to talk about . . . and maybe a biscuit or two !
Household Assistance
While my services do not include cleaning or personal care, I can help with lighter tasks around the home, such as changing bed linen, re-organising cupboards or arranging seasonal decorations.
It's not always possible for family to provide the necessary support due to the demands of busy live or challenges of not loving locally. My Lifestyle Companion service offers friendly, dependable assistance and companionship, thoughtfully tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
